European Shuffleboard Championships

A team from the UK travelled to Hohenroda, Germany to join their counterparts from the
host nation, Norway, Austria, the Netherlands and Poland in taking part in the 2 nd European
Shuffleboard Championships. The two day tournament was held over the 8 th and 9 th of
March.


Played in the format of Men’s and Ladies’ singles competitions, the UK achieved their best
results including overall runner-up going toTrevor Seaman from Attleborough, Norfolk. .
The two winners were home players in the form of Marius Runge (Men) and Fabienne
Fluck (Ladies). The future of the game looks good as the two winners were also the
youngest players in each competition.
